Job DescriptionPosition: Junior FlavoristReporting to: Head of Flavor CreationResponsibilities:- Developing new flavours applying them as part of innovation projects (ItM) as a co-project owner in collaboration with the Product Manager of the respective business unit.- Developing new flavours as part of B2B customer projects (BtO) and, if required, B2C customer projects as the co-project owner in collaboration with the respective Technical Project Manager.- Providing support in the development of a flavour strategy by continuously monitoring the market, the competitors and the customers in collaboration with Market Intelligence.- Analysing market developments in the flavours segment with the aim of identifying best practices and new raw materials, technologies and product concepts.- Applying the guidelines and rules that are relevant to the Flavours division.- Implementing defined quality standards and guidelines.- Implementing guidelines on the execution and initiation of a diverse range of tests concerning the shelf life of and change in raw materials and B2B and B2C products in collaboration with Quality and Product Science.- Specifying criteria for the analysis of customer and reference products.- Ordering new raw materials by submitting a product request to Sourcing and specifying criteria for the analysis of the new raw materials.- Ensuring that recipes are created and maintained in SAP.- Ensuring the maintenance of product-specific substance data in SAP.- Evaluating and conducting measures assigned by Quality and corrective action.- Tasting developed products.- Implementing in-house and statutory specifications and guidelines on hygiene, HACCP, food safety, occupational safety and environmental protection.
