English as an Additional Language (EAL) TeacherStart Date: August 1st 2023Job Description:1) The purpose of this post is to support student’s language needs in a dual language environment. This includes working with mainstream class teachers to maximise students’ access to the curriculum through high quality teaching and targeted interventions. 2) Providing extra non- curriculum related support where necessary to all abilities (through small group withdrawal classes, one-to- one interventions, and whole class support or teaching).3) To actively contribute to wider school development and growth. 4) Demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge and be flexible within the English department to teach different aspects of the curriculum.5) To work alongside other national and international teachers and develop the curriculum offering and future development of the subject within the school.
