As required, contribute to the development of the department annual plan and budgets ? Work with Supply Chain peers, Operations, Group Functions and other stakeholders to forecast requirements 1-5 years out ? Taking cognisance of Operations/stakeholder requirements, the Sourcing and Contracting process and the degree of workload intensity required for each requirement, create work plans/schedules to be executed ? Prioritise activities across concurrent initiatives, monitor progress to milestones and deliverables and seek support as required to ensure strategic opportunities are maximised ? After developing and considering options, escalate unresolved planning and resource requirements/conflicts Development of Category strategies and related documentation Assess and confirm internal requirements o Identify and assess external supply options, including; ? Emerging or disruptive innovations and/or technologies ? China or other ‘best cost’ country alternatives ? Local sourcing in support of MMG’s license to operate ? Potential for unplanned incidents to interrupt the sustainability of the supply chain ? In consideration of internal requirements and external options, establish the optimal ‘route to market’, preferred risk apportionment between MMG
