.Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
This role is responsible for leading the smart manufacturing team, including but not limited to lead AGV projects , overseeing the development, project management, and delivery of the AGV solutions. Key responsibilities include serving as a people skills coach, designing and governing the solution architecture, analyzing customer needs and driving business engagement, designing project concepts and providing consulting, creating and tracking project plans, managing costs, overseeing hardware / software development resources, and managing the team and personnel development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
61 Supervision accounts for up to 50% of the role, with the remainder spent as an individual contributor providing technical expertise to the project. Strong program / project management and communication skills, as well as organizational capabilities, are critical.
61 Manage the AGV project team, leading them to develop, maintain, and deploy the AGV solution for internal clients. This includes analyzing business requirements, designing project concepts and providing consulting, establishing and monitoring project plans, analyzing and managing costs, executing deployments, and providing maintenance.
61 The project scope will vary, with a moderate technical focus on AGV hardware and software, solution development, requiring the incumbent to have broad understanding of manufacturing business activities.
61 Make decisions in collaboration with the immediate work group, business unit, suppliers, internal / external clients, and the market, typically impacting a specific product, process, or factory.
61 Lead collaboration with clients, team members, and partners to drive excellent results.
61 Engage with clients to promote business activities, plan budgets, and maintain relationships.
61 Mentor and coach the team to improve their technical capabilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
61 Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, computer science, or software engineering, with 8-10 years, or a master’s degree with 5-8 years of experience.
61 Extensive experience in AGV solution development, project management, and delivery.
61 Preferred experience as an AGV project manager at an AGV solution provider.
61 Excellent project management capability
61 Strong interpersonal skills to develop cooperative working relationships.
61 Effective presentation and communication skills in both Chinese and English.
61 Creativity and innovation aptitude
