Role Definition
Assesses the supplier quality and ensures that all the products are free from defects and are in compliance with manufacturing specifications and legal standards.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and develop fabrication suppliers to meet CAT quality requirements (Sticks, Booms, CTWT, Link, TRF, Handrails, Pillar, Light welding structures).
- Conduct supplier audits (QCLDM, QMS, PCN, CAV, etc.) for supplier selection and drive corrective actions.
- Collaborate with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes (cutting, bending, welding, painting, machining, etc.) capability.
- Lead APQP(CPPD, PPAP, FMEA, SPC) and sourcing council for NPI/NSI project.
- Applying quality tools (e.g., 8D, SPC, FMEA) for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Conduct supplier rough capacity capability planning (RCCP) and ramp up test to assess and find gaps on supplier capacity.
- Work with cross-functional team to drive supplier VAVE initiatives for cost optimization and design improvements.
- Identify and drive supplier automation project to improve supplier PQVC.
- Develop and execute improvement plans to elevate supplier capabilities to meet Supplier Excellence Recognition.
- Apply Lean manufacturing principles to streamline supplier processes, reduce waste, and improve operational performance.
